Laura Pausini will be performing at the Qantas Credit Union Arena (formerly Sydney Entertainment Centre) on Saturday February 14th, 2015, and at Margaret Court Arena (Victoria) on February 13th, 2015. Tickets through Ticketek.

ILTA Committee - 2015

A new committee for ILTA has been formed. Whilst the HSC Trial team are being confirmed, the president and vice-president roles have been filled. All other roles will be posted to you once confirmed. Please do contact us if you would like to become involved. I would like to personally thank Liana Trevisan and Gaetano Castiglione who have led ILTA with such professionalism. I also thank Gaetano for remaining in the role of Treasurer for 2015.


My name is Angela Porro and I am the new President for ILTA, supported by Victoria Meduri as Vice-President. I teach Italian at All Saints Catholic Boys College in Liverpool, and Victoria teaches at Cerdon College in Merrylands.


It is with great honour and enthusiasm that I take on this new role.

Language Perfect 2015

Language Perfect is offering PD courses to inform teachers about the benefits of the online tool. It is also a change for teachers to network. There will be a 2015 World Series, which will be explained in these sessions.

You need to RSVP by contacting Language Perfect (new@languageperfect.co.nz) as spots are limited.

Session One: Monday 23rd February (NBSC Manly Selective Campus - 4PM to 5:30PM).

Session Two: Wednesday 25th February (UWS - 4PM to 5:30PM).

Session Three: Thursday 26th February (Newington College - 4PM to 5:30PM).

Session Four: Friday 27th February (Redlands School - 4PM to 5:30PM).

** Personal PD sessions are also available from 8AM to 12PM during the week.

The Endeavour Language Teacher Fellowships (ELTF) provide a fantastic opportunity for practising, retraining or pre-service language teachers, to improve their language skills and gain valuable cultural experience through a fully funded three week in-country study program in one of ten countries.


Applications for the 2015 Endeavour Language Teacher Fellowships open on May 15 and close on 25 June 2014.
